He was Deputy Lieutenant for Cheshire, Justice of the Peace for Cheshire, High Sheriff of Cheshire and Member of Parliament for Mid-Cheshire. He lived at Gloucester, Cheshire and Nottighamshire. He is buried at Twemlow, Chs.”
