DING 2012: “Egerton Leigh was a Cheshire politician and author. He was educated at Eton College. He was Deputy Lieutenant for Cheshire, Justice of the Peace for Cheshire, High Sheriff of Cheshire and Member of Parliament for Mid-Cheshire. He lived at Gloucester, Cheshire and Nottighamshire. He is buried at Twemlow, Chs.”
