DING 2012: “He worked as a surgeon in Kiddermeister, Wo. where he had been born. He also lived in Birmingham and Brixton. His pseudonym, Shelsley Beauchamp is the name of a village in Worcester. His brother Edward (1827-1889) also wrote novels under the pseudonym Cuthbert Bede.”
