DING 2013: “Born in Hereforshire. She was Joseph Wright’s wife and co-author in several of his primers and grammars. She also helped him with the editing of The English Dialect Dictionary. She was awarded an Honorary DLitt degree by the University of Leeds in 1934. She wrote a two volume biography of her husband, The Life of Joseph Wright (1932).”
